Product Description

Operation:


The operator selects the component to be honed and locates the same on V rests. The height of the V rests is adjusted to centralize the bore with spindle axis. The suitable honing tool is selected to diameter to be honed. The tool is fixed on the machine spindle. The tools is inserted in the tube by inching to set the end stroke positions. The operator presses the cycle start button.

The tool continues to move till it reaches the rear end of the component. At this stage the tool rotation starts and the tool is expanded. The tool continues to reciprocate within the front and rear end of the stroke. The honing oil is supplied abundantly during the honing cycle. After the pre set time, the cycle ends. This gives the signal to stop the machine and the tool collapses, rotation of the tool stops and the spindle head moves to its home position. The component now can be unloaded and a new component can be clamped.

The machines are also available with various features, which are optionally available. They are:

  • PLC/ CNC control
  • Servo Motor Expansion of honing tool
  • Load sensor of honing tool.

Tube Honing Machines are available in 2 models. The smaller model is ARIHONE 300 HA X 3000 and the bigger model is ARIHONE 500 HA x 5000. These machines are the most suitable machines to hone long hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic cylinders, plastic barrels, moulds for steel tubes etc
